In 1984, word was out that a planned community called Weston would be built.

As the city was carefully developed, I followed its growth frequently driving from Miami to Weston and back. I was determined that I wanted to be a part of Weston which was developing into a hometown feel with an organized layout, superior schools and so much more. Living in the everglades with wildlife, trees, lakes and far less bustle than Miami remained a dream for 15 years.

In 1999, I discovered a few homes and shortly after, this Florida native, Miami born, lifelong learner and educator moved to Weston for that hometown feel. Every day I drive into and through Weston, I am thrilled that I made Weston my home. Weston's Hometown lifestyle, lush landscaping, distinctive neighborhoods and incredible people have transformed my life tremendously.

The City of Weston has been a great place to live and has been good to me and my family over the years. It is time to give back. My husband, who is a retired police officer and I, cannot be more grateful to the incredible City of Weston. We are blessed to have another generation of children (eight grandchildren) experience the unique hometown lifestyle our city has provided over the years.

Becoming a City Commissioner for Weston, allowing me to preserve the Hometown lifestyle so that others can experience the most western and best city in Broward County, would be an honor. I will do my absolute best to adequately represent all constituents in Weston. As a City Commissioner, I will earnestly strive to preserve Weston's safe, diverse and vibrant lifestyle that first attracted me 24 years ago. I will fight to keep our schools the best and safest in the nation. I will consistently support our first responders, who work hard to keep Weston listed as one of the safest cities in the country, with one of the lowest crime rates nationally adding greatly to the quality of life in Weston. I will "PROTECT" Weston's budget, "PRESERVE" Weston's hometown lifestyle and "PROVIDE" a strong voice for the people of Weston.
